    CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

    Jeff Gordon's experience in conducting specialized jewelry sales started a third of a century ago. He has been directly involved with many of the largest retail liquidations and bankruptcies in North America and overseas. As a former principal at Gordon Brothers Group and CEO of GB Fixed Asset Solutions, and now The Gordon Company, Jeff and his over a century-old family heritage represent a long-standing symbol of liquidation experience across a wide range of companies and industries. From single-shop guild operations to multi-store chains, Jeff knows how to construct promotional and liquidation scenarios that quickly and simply solve underperforming asset puzzles and maximize client recovery values.

  • IRA BERGMAN

    PRESIDENT

    Ira Bergman works closely with both retail jewelers and vendors on critical issues relating to strategic planning and asset management. He brings a lifetime of experience in helping clients solve problems concerning sales growth, ROI, inventory reduction and major transitions. Bergman began his career at the Mercury Ring Corporation, a manufacturer of diamond and bridal jewelry founded by his father in 1944. In the 1980s, he joined M. Fabrikant & Sons as an executive vice president, leaving the day-to-day management of Mercury Ring Corporation in the capable hands of his wife Phyllis. As executive vice president and later president of Fabrikant's jewelry division, Bergman managed sales programs that consistently exceeded sales and profitability targets, and oversaw all business development functions. He is a member of the 24 Karat Club of the City of New York, a member of the board of the Jewelers Board of Trade, and a former board member of the Plumb Club and the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America.

    Steve Webb is a retail management professional with 30 plus years of sales focused operational efficiency and process improvement. He has a demonstrated track record of leading innovative store "branding" and expansion initiatives and is recognized for his ability to incorporate innovative management techniques, systems, and processes, to boost revenues, enhance business practices, and increase productivity.

    Jason Binder brings with him nearly two decades of experience in the field of Finance, having worked in numerous industries throughout his career. Jason began his tenure with The Gordon Company as its Financial Analyst, working with complex financial models and retail jewelry sales. He has served The Gordon Company since 2011 and has made great contributions in many areas of the business, including improving corporate processes and functions. Now, as Vice President of Operations, Jason is able to utilize his relational skills and abilities, as well as his advertising and finance expertise, in helping Gordon Company clients achieve, and exceed, their goals.

    Few in this generation have had a greater impact on the gem and jewelry industry than Bill Boyajian. As the former long-time president of the Gemological Institute of America, Boyajian is a noted leader and expert in the field. He is currently founder and president of Bill Boyajian & Associates, Inc., where he consults, coaches, and advises a wide variety of businesses and leaders both inside and outside the jewelry trade. As an advisor to the board of The Gordon Company, Boyajian brings knowledge, expertise, and an unbridled commitment to educating, supporting and guiding retail jewelers to maximize their business, financial, and operational goals. He brings particular value to understanding the people side of the business when it comes to succession planning and family transition.
